A dear writing friend passed away yesterday. My heart is broken over this earthly loss. Bob Stewart was a rare find. He was a true friend and kind spirit with a heart to encourage. I will miss him.
I feel that I owe Bob an apology. You see God has been nudging my spirit for months to touch base with Bob. but I have resisted for several reasons always thinking I would have time. Bob was one of the first readers of my civil war manuscript. He encouraged me to pursue writing and praised my writing talents in a way that nurtured my ambitions. I regret that I let our friendship lapse. Now it’s too late.
I am thankful Bob has passed onto Glory, because there’s no better place to be than in Jesus’ presence. He’s reunited with his loved ones, especially his dear wife. I’m sure there was great rejoicing in Heaven.
My prayers are with his kids and grandchildren during this difficult time. May God bless the Stewart Family.
Bob was bigger than life and his presence will be missed.
